At the Park

Avery loves this little park up by my parent's house. She loves to go down the slides and if your not fast enough to catch her she is off and heading back up again

Here she is walking up the steps all by herself, I can't believe how fast they grow
Here she is on the swings, which I couldn't believe.  For some reason she hasn't liked the swings but this day Grammy showed her how to hold to the front and the sides and she was all excited and laughing at herself.
Here she is clapping for herself, she does this and that is your cue to clap and if you don't start she stops and stares at you until you do.  This is fine for us but she expects the strangers to clap for her too.  It's pretty funny

MORE AVERY

It has been sooooo hot down her, I mean BLAZING!!! We can hardly spend anytime outside except to go swimming in the afternoon in a pool that doesn't even feel that refreshing and in the morning around 6:00a.m.  We put a camper chair on our porch (since we don't have patio furniture) and Avery and I read stories and play until it gets too warm.  Avery loves to lounge in this chair and tells me to sit on the floor. I'm not sure but I think
I am getting the raw end of the deal

She brings all her babies out and lays them just so, and don't move them because she doesn't want any of that
I think if she could she would eat, sleep, and play just like this

Learning Days

Avery is getting to be like a sponge, she does everything we do.  She loves to be in the bathroom and do her makeup and brush her teeth.  She also loves to give Daddy hugs and kisses.  Brian says we are going to have to watch out for her at school.  The teacher will be calling us saying she trying to kiss all the boys. YIKES

Here she is giving Daddy hugs
Avery loves to load her arms up with whatever she can find. She puts these rings on and runs around singing "ashes, ashes, we all ...DOWN."  Thats the only part she really likes out of the song so that's the part she sings over and over

At Grammy's House

Avery has a mullet (I think that's how you spell it) and I have really been debating on whether or not to cut it.  She looks so cute in pig tails but the top is just not growing as fast as the back.  It is hard now that she is a 18 months and finally getting hair.
Here is Avery in the shed area of my parent's backyard.  She dropped her baby so she is trying to shake him off.

This is her baby that stays at Grammy's house, she has to get him as soon as
 she comes in the door.

Story Time

This is a video clip of Brian reading "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" to Avery just before Christmas. She was trying so hard to stand and walk and she later took her first steps after Christmas. Enjoy!
